About this policy
This policy explains what personal information DepthLogo collects when you use depthlogo.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean DepthLogo.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and password. Passwords, and the 6-digit codes we email you to confirm your address, are stored hashed, so we can’t read them. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile details Google shares with us, such as your name and email address.
- Your briefs and logos. What you enter to design a logo (brand name, slogan, industry, description and style choices), the images we generate for you, and the logos you save and edit.
- Orders. Your email address, what you bought, the amounts, the payment status and the dates. Your card details go to Stripe: we never see or store your card number.
- Messages. What you write to us when you contact support.
- Technical data. Your IP address and browser type, which we use for security and rate limiting, and server logs.
How we use it
- To run DepthLogo: your account, sign-in and saved work.
- To generate your logos and deliver your files.
- To take payments and keep order records.
- To send the emails the service needs, such as sign-in codes and order links.
- To answer you when you contact support.
- To keep DepthLogo secure and prevent abuse.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records.
We do this because we need the information to provide what you ask for, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping DepthLogo secure, or because the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We use these services to run DepthLogo, and share with each one what it needs for its part:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, our database and stored files, sends our emails, and runs some of our AI features, such as brand name and slogan ideas and matching logo templates to your brief.
- Stripe processes payments through Stripe Checkout.
- fal.ai runs the AI models we use, from providers including OpenAI and Recraft. Your brief is sent through fal.ai to OpenAI’s GPT Image model, which draws the artwork. When you buy an SVG, the image is sent to Recraft, which turns it into a vector.
- Google, if you sign in with Google: it confirms who you are and shares your basic profile with us.
We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising. We may also share information when the law requires it.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: they keep you signed in, remember the language you read the site in, link a checkout to your browser so you can see your order, and keep sign-in secure. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
When you pay, Stripe’s checkout may set cookies of its own, which it needs to process the payment and prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
- Account details. We keep them until your account is deleted.
- Your briefs and logos. We keep them so you can download your logos again, and delete them with your account.
- Order records. We keep them as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after your account is deleted.
- Free design. When an account is deleted, we keep a note that its email address has already used its free design, so it can’t be claimed twice.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your personal data, and you can object to how we use it. Email support@depthlogo.com from the address on your account, so we know the request comes from you.
When we delete your account, we keep only the records listed above. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
International transfers
Our providers may process your information outside the country where you live, where data protection laws may differ from yours.
Children
DepthLogo isn’t for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you think a child has given us personal data, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
