Turn an idea into your logo

Describe your brand and let the AI logo generator draw it in any of these styles, or start from an editable logo template and change every detail.

How to find a logo idea for your brand

Good logo ideas rarely come out of nowhere. They come from knowing a few things about your brand and then looking at plenty of logos with those things in mind. This gallery is for the looking part: it shows every style our AI can draw, used for cafés, gyms, law firms, DJs and more.

Start by writing down a few words about your brand. Who buys from you? How should they feel when they see your name: reassured, excited, amused? Where will the logo appear most, on a shop front, an app icon, a coffee cup or a profile picture? Those answers narrow things down faster than any amount of browsing.

Then browse with a purpose. When a logo catches your eye, work out what you like about it, whether that’s the lettering, the shape of the symbol, the colors or the mood, and note the reason rather than the logo. You’ll end up with a short list like “hand-drawn, warm colors, round badge”, which makes a far better brief than a folder of screenshots. Look outside your own industry too. A bakery can borrow the warmth of a children’s brand, and a tech company doesn’t have to be another blue swoosh.

Logo ideas by style and industry

The buttons above the gallery filter it by look: 3D, minimal, vintage, playful and lettering. Each logo is labeled with its style and its industry, and every style is one our generator offers, so anything you like here you can make yourself.

Minimalist logos are the biggest group: one simple symbol and clean lettering, like the mountain shaped as an S for Summit Gear. Vintage logos are engraved-looking badges with ribbons, the kind you’d find on a barber shop or a brewery, such as Old Harbor Barbers. Whimsical retro logos are full of flowers, sparkles and smiling characters, like the croissant in a chef’s hat for Sunny Crumbs, a bakery.

Other styles lead with personality. Mascot logos put a character at the center, like the ninja holding a sushi roll for Sushi Ninja. Signature logos write the name in flowing script, a favorite of photographers and salons. Gold monograms interlock two initials in an ornate frame. You’ll also find watercolor, scribbled ink, Scandinavian folk art, pixel art and glowing neon.

By industry, coffee shops, restaurants and tech companies have the most examples, and photographers and bakeries come next. There are ideas for fashion and jewelry brands, gyms, spas and salons, music and gaming, travel, real estate, law firms, podcasts, tattoo studios and pet shops too. One coffee shop, Harbor & Pine, appears in several styles, from minimal and whimsical to 3D and black and white. Comparing them shows how much a style changes the feel of the same name.

What makes an idea work as a logo

An idea can look great in a gallery and still struggle as a logo. Before you commit to one, put it through a few plain tests:

  • You can describe it in one short sentence, like “a fox head on a shield”. If it takes a paragraph, it’s an illustration, not a logo.
  • It sticks in the mind. One clear shape or an unusual letter is easier to remember than a crowd of small details.
  • It works small. Your logo will spend much of its life as a favicon, a profile picture or a line on an invoice, where fine lines and tiny text vanish first. Our free logo checker shows how a logo file holds up at that size and on dark backgrounds.
  • It still reads in one color. Stamps, embroidery, engraving and receipts often allow only one, so a flat version of the idea has to work too.
  • It fits what you sell. Pixel art suits an arcade; for a law firm, probably not.

Make a logo in the style you like

Found a style you like? Press Use style under the logo and our AI logo generator opens with that style chosen. Type your brand name, pick your colors, and it designs new logos in that style around your name. Your first design is free once you sign up, and you pay only if you download it. Our guide on how to make a logo with an AI logo generator shows what to type for better results.

Prefer to start from a finished layout? Our logo templates include vintage badges, clean minimal marks, lettermarks and handwritten wordmarks, each shown with your name. Open one in the logo maker, change the fonts, colors and layout, and download the files when it’s right. Editing is free and needs no account.

Either way, treat the gallery as inspiration rather than a catalog. The AI makes a new design every time, so you won’t get a copy of the example, and you shouldn’t want one: the point is a logo built around your own name.

3D logo ideas

Choose 3D above the gallery to see the logos with depth: retro lettering that looks extruded, clay mascots that look soft enough to squeeze, letters cut from ice, gold monograms and glossy takes on minimal marks. A 3D look stands out on screens, in app icons and in video, and it can make a simple idea feel finished.

In our generator, four styles are always 3D: Retro 3D, 3D Ice, 3D Clay and Gold. Every other style has a switch between 2D flat and 3D depth, so a minimal mark like the coffee cup for Summit Roasters can come out as clean lines or as a glossy object. To make one, start with our 3D logo maker.

3D isn’t always the better choice, though. It shows best as a PNG on screens, while signs, stamps and embroidery usually need a flat version. Our article on 3D logo vs flat logo helps you decide which one your brand needs.

FAQ

Logo ideas questions

Not as they are. They’re examples that show what each style can do, and they aren’t for sale or licensed for use. You can make your own logo in the same style, though: press Use style under any of them and the AI logo generator designs a new one around your name.

Press Use style under the logo you like. The generator opens with that style chosen; type your brand name, pick your colors and generate. You’ll get new designs in that style, made for your name. If you’d rather edit a finished design, browse our logo templates in a similar style.

Most of them were: we made them with our own AI, in the styles the generator offers you, from short briefs like the one you’d type. A few are examples of a style that we show for inspiration.

It will share the style, not the drawing. The AI designs a new logo around your name, your colors and anything you tell it about what the logo should show, so two people who pick the same style get different logos.

Start with where the logo will be used most and how you want people to feel, then pick a few ideas that fit and test them small and in one color. The simplest idea that still says something about you usually lasts longest. When you have a logo file, our free logo checker tests it in seconds.

Yes. Choose 3D above the gallery to see retro 3D lettering, clay mascots, ice, gold and glossy minimal marks. To make your own, start with our 3D logo maker.
